At Cooper’s Bar and Grill, we rebuilt our space down to the studs before opening our doors in 2023, proudly naming our place after the historical nickname once given to Oak Forest residents. From the beginning, our goal has been to offer an easygoing gathering spot centered around great comfort food and warm hospitality. Our kitchen serves up crowd favorites like piled-high Italian beef, Iowa-style breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches, and our famous Kenootz-style wings. We also craft homemade soups from scratch every day alongside juicy burgers and classic pizzas baked hot to order. As Heather R. noted after stopping by for lunch, "the soup was really good," with our staff making guests feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. Whether you are catching the big game, joining in on a weeknight event, or picking up a relaxed meal to enjoy at home, we make sure you leave happy and well fed. We love being a familiar neighborhood fixture and taking care of everyone here in Oak Forest.
